Xeno Komi

Welcome~

This is a small dumping ground for random Xeno Komi multimedia and information. Xeno Komi is a part of Xenosaga Freaks for the Playstation 2, released only within Japan in 2004. The disc's primary aim was to be a promotional tool for Xenosaga Episode II, however along with the Episode II demo, the disc also included an interactive Xenosaga database, Xeno Pittan, and the infamous Xeno Komi. Xeno Komi is best described as a text adventure with voice acting, however thrown in to the mix is KOS-MOS in neko-mimi mode, going on a destructive rampage throughout the Durandal and the Elsa chasing after a cat, unable to understand what anyone is saying (in her mind, everyone is speaking like a cat). You could see the story through the eyes of all six of the main characters (and Allen once you've completed the first six scenarios). However, even Xeno Komi itself was essentially a promo for Episode II. It gave sneak peeks of Sakura's World, Sakura herself and Jr.'s younger self, and a brief glimpse in to Ziggy's past.

Cut Scenes
Perhaps one of the main attractions of Xeno Komi is not only its bizarre storyline, but also its amusing cut scenes. The following are large, high-quality caps of all 30 scenes. Please note that each image is around 250KBs in size. You can use the caps however you wish, however credit is appreciated (but not necessary). Please do not direct link to these images, nor repost the entire gallery; it defeats the purpose of this website ;)

Boost Quiz
In order to get some of these cut scenes, you had to get a perfect score in a character's 'boost quiz'. Each boost quiz contained five multiple choice questions relating to either Xeno Komi or Episode I. By achieving a perfect score, you would be given the extra cut scene at the end of the scenario. You also had one chance to 'boost', and be given a hint (either in the form of a database entry if the question pertained to Episode I, or a brief glimpse in to a previous occurrence in Xeno Komi). The following are the answers to each character's boost quiz (Allen does not have one, as all of his scenes are automatically unlocked).
